Choosing your wood.

Baltic Birch Plywood

Birch plywood is a strong and classic medium, providing a light colour and often subtle grain. While you may not like being able to see the layers from the side, the strength more than makes up for it with this being by far our most durable wood, the layers of plywood provide strength that makes it less likely to break should a piece get dropped.

Walnut

Walnut is a dark and gorgeous wood, often with wonderful grain that can really help bring a piece to life. Walnut can come in all manner of shades from a light brown to nearly black, this can happen over a gradient or in a sudden change of colour. you never quite know what you will see with walnut, but it is always beautiful. The only drawback to that grain is it can make some pieces quite breakable, so careful handling is recommended.

Oak

Oak is an amazing hardwood that has a spectacular red and light yellow grain that can come in all kinds of amazing patterns from long straight grain, to a spotted effect. Oak is hard and will stand up against scratches well, but as with the walnut, the grain comes with a word of caution as dropping Oak often results in breaks along the grain.
